Lovely well kept annex in lovely peaceful area. Everything there that you need. Local amenities close by and great value for money. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again

The annex was a nicely presented apartment, made up of a spacious bedroom with good cupboard space (and room for two chairs and a table), and a comfortable sitting area, with a small kitchen off to the side. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated having a simple gas hob/oven that was easy to operate. There was a welcome pack, with a bottle of wine, bag of coffee, and a couple of biscuits; there was also some sugars, tea, coffee, and long-life milk sachets provided.I would have liked larger towels, and the shower attachment is rather awkward if, like us, you plan to use the bath - we had to detach it for the duration of our stay. Once we'd done that though, the bath was fine. The rooms were also overpoweringly scented on arrival, with perfumed oil/sticks in the bedroom, and a gadget fitted to the powerpoint in the lounge. Once we'd decomissioned those, and opened all the windows to air the place, it was fine - but if artificial scents aren't your thing, I'd suggest asking the owners to remove these before you arrive.This said, it was a very comfortable place to stay, and in a quiet residential area. We came here to go to an event at the Long Barn at Childerley, and it was perfectly situated for that. Also enjoyed a nice Thai meal at the pub in Bourn, and had a great day out at Whimpole Estate, which I can thoroughly recommend.
