The lodge itself was lovely, unfortunately it was situated 20 yards from a building site, with vans arriving from 6am and parking outside the bedroom window, also daily fires being lit so unable to use the hot tub or open the doors to the veranda during the day, we would NOT have booked if we had been aware, the owner refunded 10% but this was not enough for what should have been a relaxing stress free break, so if you are thinking of booking be aware and check if the builders are still there you can then make an informed choice.
