As a family of five and a dog, we absolutely loved our stay at Sunnyfields. The location is great as a base for exploring Cambridge and surrounding areas and the proximity to Cambridge Country club with the outdoor terrace, swimming pool and gym was wonderful. The hot tub and outdoor furniture as well as the view over the golf club was the perfect set up for balmy evenings after a day of exploring.Thank you for a wonderful stay

Where to start, the lodge was immaculate, with a good sized kitchen/dining room as well as spacious lounge and bedrooms. The outside was also smart with plenty of furniture and a wonderful sunken hot tub. Nearby was a country club which had a swimming pool and gym we could use as well as a bar and restaurant where they had a host of sports on tv. For those who are keen there was also a golf course you could play but would need to pay for. Only downside was minimal take aways/restaurants nearby. The one we found was bamboo sky, it didnt deliver so we collected, it was beautiful inside and the food was delicious. A perfect place.

This is a very well equipped lodge in a nice location. We are not golfers but I imagine it would be excellent for those that indulge. At the time of our stay they were doing building work on the house next door but it wasn't particularly intrusive (a few machinery noises), apart from a plasterer who decided it was OK to park in the driveway while we were out. The cutlery draw is a challenge to find and really could do with a label somewhere, (good luck! hint: it's inside the crockery drawer). A few more instructions on using the microwave would be useful as it's not particularly intuitive to drive. The owners leave a useful pack of information about the lodge and places to visit. If we have one gripe its that in this information pack it asks not to adjust the heating as it's set and is automatic. Well, it was, at 16.5C. Well, I'm sorry, that's jut too cold in April when it was dropping to 5C outside so yes, I tweaked it up for our stay. I can only imagine that they intended to adjust it before we arrived and forgot.
