It is a favoured area for fishing and birdwatching, and Soham is a small fenland town with excellent facilities within walking distance. An ideal holiday base; Ely is 5 miles away, and Newmarket is within easy reach. Cambridge 20 miles. Bury St Edmunds 15 miles.

Netherall Manor Lodge is absolutely perfect we cannot recommend it enough, it is a beautiful spacious well equipped house with everything you could possibly need. The host Timothy Clark is extremely hospitable ensuring everything is to the highest standard, this is a hidden gem.

Lovely cottage which is deceptively spacious inside, with large living and dining area. Bedroom is equally spacious. Bathroom is quite small, but manageable.We were a bit concerned about the heating as we were there in October, but the cottage was warm enough for us.The owner is very welcoming and readily available should any issues crop up. He also has a wealth of knowledge about the area and places to visit.The cottage is well situated in Soham with pubs, restaurants and supermarkets within a 10 minute walk. Cambridge is also easy to get to by a direct bus.
