Located in Brinkley, Newmarket, Bears House is a quaint wood cabin for couples wishing to take time to enjoy the countryside within two hours of London. Row a boat under the stars, challenge someone to a putt on the green, or dine al fresco amongst the trees at this magical site.

One of three on the Piggles Retreat site, Bears House is a hidden cabin with a kitchenette and spacious sitting room. Sleeping two people in a comfy double bedroom, with room for an additional guest on a single bed in the sitting room (which can be put up on request for a small additional charge). The fully-equipped kitchenette is complete with a mini-fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The separate sitting room has a sofa and television with views out over the gardens and lake. Outside is a decked area with a BBQ and garden furniture. Each cabin has its own private shower room which is a short walk away from the cabin, these have a shower, WC and basin.

Sleeping one adult and one child, or two children, Monkey's House can be added on to any booking for an additional £60 per night. (please request at time of booking, subject to availability)

On the site there is so much to do, including a boating lake complete with life jackets of all sizes to borrow. There is a gazebo which is the perfect place to have a drink or supper outside and watch the sun go down. There is a decking area built up in the treetops with tables and chairs for those that was a picnic up with the monkeys! The badminton area and putting green are also available for those guests with a competitive spirit.

Located just outside of Newmarket, the site is under two hours drive from London, making it a great escape for those that want to get away hassle free.

Although the cabin is designed for 2 guests it can accommodate up to 4 guests for an additional £ 50.00 per guest, per night. There is a sofa bed or we can supply a put up bed.

The extra guests will have to bring their own bed linen or we can supply bed linen for each extra guest for an extra £10.00.

The Monkeys House Annex:

For larger families there is an annex called Monkeys house with bunk beds and flat screen TV which can sleep 1 adult and 1 child or 2 children.
