Site Description

Lode Hall Cottages is part of our Daisy Door Cottage Style Collection, in the unique Fenland countryside set peacefully in the grounds of a beautiful Georgian Country House on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border. This idyllic combination of secluded rural peace and luxurious living creates a truly special country escape.

Popular Downham Market is just 6 miles away offering a range of quaint shops, pubs and eateries, while the local villages, country estates, nature reserves and outdoor pursuits all available close by provide you with plenty to do and explore away from the comfort of your lodge.

Those who do want to explore the area really will be spoilt for choice, with the cities of Cambridge, Ely, Kings Lynn and Norwich all within easy reach. The university city of Cambridge has so much to offer including the famous Fitzwilliam Museum, along with lots of guided tours of the colleges and universities and punting trips on the river Cam.

Security Deposit:

Please be aware there is a security deposit of £50 per adult (min £350 Coach House, min £500 Lode Hall) payable on arrival by card only. This is fully refundable providing no damage or noise disturbances occur.

In order to maintain good relations between all our guests and our resident neighbours we have had to put in place a strict rule that no noise or revelry is allowed outside after the hour of 11pm. Any guests in breach of this will lose their deposit.

Park Information:

Lode Hall is in a rural setting and to maintain a peaceful atmosphere the owners do ask for no noise disturbance to be made in the garden area after 11pm.

Please be aware there is a small River 115 yards from the property.
