The location is frequently praised as excellent, being a short walk from the village centre and close to local attractions, restaurants, and scenic walks. Guests appreciate the balance of privacy and convenience.
Guests find the house very comfortable, highlighting cosy beds, en-suite bedrooms, and spacious living areas. Some mention the sofas could be more supportive, but this is a minor point in otherwise positive feedback.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Alderley House was very comfortable clean and well equipped. The gardens were very nice and were used a lot as the weather was so good.

The house is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the centre of Bourton-on-the-water. There were five of us in our family group, all adults, and we found it to be very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. Each room has its on en-suite, which suited us perfectly. The owners were very helpful and gave us useful information before we arrived and during our stay. They had provided fans in each room, which was very welcome because we stayed during the heatwave.

Absolutely beautiful home, well appointed and well situated very near the city Centre. Margaret was quick to reply when we needed her the first day when our email wasn't available so we didn't have the house code.Four women were very comfortable in the home!
