Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The town’s past can be appreciated by looking at the period cottages, traditional buildings and the once used 'stocks' on the green. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry, it is now home to many antique shops, galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town, visit Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest.
Enter the cottage through the spacious hall with WC. The cosy lounge has ample comfortable seating, woodburner effect electric fire and TV/DVD and Wi-Fi. The kitchen/diner leads from the hall and comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a dining table for four to enjoy a meal together.
