Inside Long Barn, enjoy the exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. The light and airy open-plan living space includes a well-equipped kitchen with all your culinary requirements taken care of. The dining table sits adjacent to the kitchen area, so the nominated cook can be a part of the group while they russle up something tasty; or, better still, take advantage of the delicious home-made meals which can be pre-ordered and take a break from the cooking. The sitting room area is comfortably furnished with ample seating for four guests and a television with Freeview and Bluetooth speakers, perfect after a long day exploring this beautiful area of the Cotswolds. Bedroom one has an inviting king-size bed and boasts its own en-suite shower room along with french doors which open out to the walled garden. Bedroom two provides flexible twin 3’ zip and link single beds, which can be made into a super-king size bed on request, so ideal for both children or adults alike. The family bathroom features cosy underfloor heating, ideal for those cooler mornings.

Long Barn sits in front of a traditional Cotswold stone courtyard stable block, with a Norman church as a backdrop. There is a private, fully enclosed south facing garden offering stunning views across unspoilt countryside with fields of grazing horses and free-range chickens. The property has private access from the stable courtyard where there is ample parking.

Situated on the outskirts of the village of Coates, which has both the source of the River Thames and the architectural structure of the Coates Portal, part of the longest tunnel on the Thames and Severn Canal located at the Tunnel House Inn.

This is the perfect bolthole, surrounded by tranquil countryside and beautiful parkland with superb walking routes straight from the front door. You are also within close distance to some excellent pubs.

Additional Information:

One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Dogs must remain on the lead when not in the garden of Long Barn.

The swimming pool is available from the 26th of May and 10th of September 2023 10am-5pm (use outside of these times to be arranged on arrival).

There are a couple of low beams, we recommend familiarising yourself with the property upon arrival.

Baby welcome in own travel cot and high chair.

All bedding is feather.

Access to horse stables by prior arrangement.

Homemade meals and local produce can be pre-ordered, details are available on request.
