Free parking is available within 50 metres of the cottage, adjacent to the village green; upon arrival, luggage can be unloaded adjacent to the village hall, approximately 20 metres from the cottage.
As you approach the short terrace of cottages, you will be welcomed by the lovely front door of Cosy Corner, which opens up into the well-presented ground floor, home to the welcoming sitting/dining room with a warming woodburning stove and Smart TV, perfect for catching up on your favourite shows and feeling the warmth from the stove.
The well-equipped galley kitchen has everything you will need for cooking up a delicious home-cooked meal, before gathering with your group at the dining table to enjoy your meal and discuss your trip itinerary.
When sleeps calls, you have a choice of two lovely bedrooms; the first is on the first-floor and contains twin beds and a built-in wardrobe, sharing the floor with the bathroom and the master bedroom, located on the second floor in the eaves of the property is homely and contains a double bed.
Once you’ve got some rest, enjoy your morning coffee on the bistro table that sits just outside the front of the cottage and look out across the footpath to the private garden which has lovely shrubs, a patio table with parasol, barbecue, a bench and a selection of fun garden games.
A useful utility room lies at the end of the garden which also contains a shower, perfect for returning from a long walk or cycle to wash down in and store your clothes, muddy shoes and bicycles; which are provided by the owners with helmets.
There are several footpaths from the village, and two national cycle routes pass through the village, making this an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
Nearby Broadwell is one of the undiscovered beauty spots of the Cotswolds, Broadwell has it all; a broad village green ringed by lovely Cotswold stone cottages, a gentle stream running through the village, a popular inn, and a Norman church with some intriguing historical monuments.
Visit local market town Stow-on-the-Wold and see the Fosse Gallery to admire an array of contemporary British art, or indulge in a bite to eat and drinks at The Stag at Stow, or even add a touch of opulence and revel in the scrumptious tea and cakes at The Old Bakery Tea Room.
If you love a good old fashioned British market, Moreton-in-Marsh is not to be missed; being one of the top market towns in the northern Cotswolds, with great shopping, an abundance of history and great pubs such as The Black Bear Inn.
Whether you’re wanting to explore the local area, or venture out into the neighbouring villages and towns, Cosy Corner is the right choice for you.
