Watery Park Barn and Hiron's Piece are both wonderfully restored barn conversions situated in the heart of the Cotswolds. With only a short walk between the two properties, this is an ideal choice for a large group of family or friends.
Watery Park Barn is a lovingly restored barn once used as a venue for local events. Now a superb holiday cottage, it is fabulously spacious with all the mod cons and more that you would expect from a home away from home in the country.
The floor to ceiling windows at the back bring light in abundance into this pleasant and sympathetically restored property and there are seven bedrooms, four of which are located around the gallery. A large dining table can seat 18 people allowing for large dinner parties, whether that be self-catered using the facilities in the fully fitted kitchen or chosen from one of our carefully selected outside caterers.
Outside is a large garden with covered patio area and two gas barbecues. Please note this property has a capacity of 14 (plus four sleeping on sofa beds - extra charge of £40.00 per bed applies).

With an impressive open-plan dining kitchen as the heart of the house with double french doors to the front of the property and an amazing floor to ceiling glazed gable end, this space is flooded with natural light and makes for the perfect sociable entertaining space whether it’s a relaxed family breakfast or sophisticated dinner party. The owner has painstakingly sourced the remarkable overhead beams and there’s not a nail in sight lending the space an oak room feel. Underfloor heating throughout this area ensures its super cosy in the cooler months. and four en-suite bedrooms, it’s the ideal place to get together with family or friends. Exposed timbers, vast glazing and sumptuous furnishings give this property a wonderful sense of light and space.

A high chair, travel cot and stair gate can be provided upon request.
The sofa beds can be used at an additional £40.00 charge per bed per stay. Sofa beds must be added during the booking process.
Up to three dogs are welcome at this property and more may be considered on request. (Small additional charge per dog).
Please note that although bedrooms five and six are on different levels, there is no door between these two bedrooms.

We hired Watery Park Barn and Hiron’s Piece for two nights for a family birthday celebration. We had 23 family members, aged 7 to 77, and there was plenty of room for us all. It’s a fantastic property, full of character and just perfect for such a gathering. We hired a bouncy castle for the children in the outside area and a chef to prepare the evening meals. The enormous dining table provided room for us all to dine together. A special thank you to the owner Stephen, who collected some family members from the station, as there was an incredibly long wait for a taxi. This was very kind of him. We wouldn’t have any doubt in recommending this property.

I celebrated my 60th birthday at Watery Park Barn and Hiron's Piece with close family and friends. It was the perfect venue that afforded everyone their own space to chill, work etc whilst at the same time offering fantastic communal areas where we could join together and relax, have fun and party. In winter the fire is an excellent focal point and the outdoor cooking area is also good fun. Facilities generally at both parts of the venue are very good and the nature of the property makes it feel very homely. An excellent caterer is recommended nearby to provide (up to) fine dining if required; we engaged her and it was top notch.The location is perfect as a launchpad for lovely Cotswolds town and villages some within decent walking distance, The walks have stunning views and certainly gave the opportunity to work up a thirst ready for the plethora of pubs.Sadly the local pub in Weston Sub Edge was under renovation BUT the Village Bar was open Thursday - Sunday and was very welcoming with a great locals atmosphere.Fully recommend this venue for a fun, relaxed, homely break.

Watery Park Barn and Hiron's Piece were both beautiful buildings, we loved all the quirky little hideaways to relax in and the large kitchen and open plan dining area for socialising. Pretty and comfortable bedrooms. Owners were really welcoming and helpful, and both properties were really well kitted out for hosting a large group. Lovely countryside surroundings, and lots of pretty villages nearby to explore.
