The caravan was in a good location backing onto a small lake and had a reasonable sized veranda with good outdoor furniture to sit on. We found the caravan clean and tidy upon arrival and it had all the facilities required. It was a short walk to the clubhouse which served good food. However, unfortunately one of the bedrooms had a vacuum just inside the door, so when opening the door it fell out! In addition, my daughter found a clump of hair under the duvet, which was disappointing.

Unfortunately the caravan was shabby and unloved. There was mildew on the inside of the curtains and the curtains kept falling off their rails. There was no duvet covers or pillow cases on the bedding, we eventually found it in a carrier bag under one of the beds. The towel rail fell off the wall and the kitchen tap was loose. The outside seating area needed a good clean and one of the chairs was broken. There is a club house on the site, with a restaurant, a cafe, a swimming pool and evening entertainment but we could not access it as we had no pass. We were not permitted to purchase a pass, as it had to provided by the caravan owner, who could not be contacted. The receptionist at the club house and Cottages.com both tried to contact the owner to no avail. Luckily for us Cottages.com arranged for us to move to different accommodation, and we had a lovely holiday.

Accommodation had not been cleaned from previous occupants. Dirty towels in shower. Dirty sheets on the beds and milk two months out of date in the fridge. Absolutely disgusting!!
