The Augusta House is highly praised for its spaciousness, beautiful lakeside setting, and suitability for family gatherings. Guests appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, ample amenities, and the variety of activities available nearby. The host received positive feedback for communication and helpfulness. While a few minor issues were noted, such as kitchen cleanliness and upstairs temperature during a heatwave, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, with many guests keen to return.
The property is generally described as very clean, though a few guests mentioned cobwebs and the need to clean some kitchen items and the oven. These were minor issues in otherwise positive feedback.
The location is repeatedly described as stunning, central, and perfect for family getaways, with beautiful views and easy access to activities and the estate's amenities.
Guests found the house spacious and comfortable for large groups, with well-equipped living areas. Some noted the upstairs bedroom was hot during a heatwave, but fans and air conditioning downstairs helped.
The house is well equipped with kitchen essentials, BBQ, and access to estate facilities like the swimming pool. Minor maintenance issues were mentioned, but overall facilities were highly rated.
Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, fizz, and BBQ supplies on arrival. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The house was lovely and the view was beautiful. It was very well stocked in the kitchen and even provided fans, however the layout for the upstairs 3rd floor bedroom I would recommend air conditioning up there as the fans provided (which we were grateful for) just blew out hot air and it was so hot up their we chose to sleep on the sofa one evening g as there was air conditioning downstairs and we were there during heatwave. There were lots of cobwebs around the house and we didn’t use the oven as we found this to be quite dirty but luckily there was a bbq and we certainly had the weather for it. We did have a fantastic stay here though and the location was fab overlooking the lake and not far from activity centre etc. I would also recommend bringing insect repellent as there as lots of mosquitoes etc due to the location so when the doors are open or sitting outside be prepared to get bit. Also worth noting that the restaurant on site closed early on a Sunday as we were hoping to go for Sunday dinner on Father’s Day but 6pm it was shut and so was the pizza shack. We ended up driving into Cirencester to the Fleece which Liam recommended and it was a stunning place. Food and service there was brilliant and it felt like we were in Italy sat in the courtyard eating. Overall we had a fantastic weekend here with family celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday. Liam was also very helpful and great service.

the location is stunning. 1 of the best spots in cotswold lakes (and we have stayed in a few). spacious and well set up for 10. nice amenities. check in and communication is slightly protracted and confusing with mesaging different people different things and non responsivenes. it would be helpful if they told you when booking that the activity hub booking for swimming opens the day before at 10.30 and spaces were gone within minutes so you need to proactively set a timer. overall we wiuld stay again as the location is beautiful.

A great cottage for my family to spend some time together in a fabulous complex. Good comms with Liam directly and the Milk and Fizz was a very nice touch, alongside coals and lighters for the BBQ. There is plenty of room acros the house and open plan living area kitchen and sliding doors onto the patio works really well. The photos match what the house is like. One very minor gripe was that the kitchen cupboards, cutlery and glases needed a clean, which is why that element scores 4 out of 5, otherwise all fine. We'd be happy to come back again.
