The house was lovely and the view was beautiful. It was very well stocked in the kitchen and even provided fans, however the layout for the upstairs 3rd floor bedroom I would recommend air conditioning up there as the fans provided (which we were grateful for) just blew out hot air and it was so hot up their we chose to sleep on the sofa one evening g as there was air conditioning downstairs and we were there during heatwave. There were lots of cobwebs around the house and we didn’t use the oven as we found this to be quite dirty but luckily there was a bbq and we certainly had the weather for it. We did have a fantastic stay here though and the location was fab overlooking the lake and not far from activity centre etc. I would also recommend bringing insect repellent as there as lots of mosquitoes etc due to the location so when the doors are open or sitting outside be prepared to get bit. Also worth noting that the restaurant on site closed early on a Sunday as we were hoping to go for Sunday dinner on Father’s Day but 6pm it was shut and so was the pizza shack. We ended up driving into Cirencester to the Fleece which Liam recommended and it was a stunning place. Food and service there was brilliant and it felt like we were in Italy sat in the courtyard eating. Overall we had a fantastic weekend here with family celebrating my mother’s 70th birthday. Liam was also very helpful and great service.
