The cottage is excellent in all aspects. Our one complaint is the check in. The owners should inform you that they use WhatsApp. We waited outside until 3.30pm. Poor reception meant we had to wait until they sent the access codes by text. Please note your details on the property states codes will be sent 2 days before. This is incorrect as you get them on your arrival day

Had an amazing weekend with friends. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The Hot tub is an added bonus which was well enjoyed. We ate breakfast in the Pump cafe next door and had a meal in the Sanctuary pub across the road both of which accommodated our group with a mixture of vegetarians and gluten free. Can highly recommend both. Thank you Bolsover for the lovely welcome we had from the locals and to Emma at the cottage we had a blast.
