A lovely roomy cottage in the heart of a delightful small town. It was very well equipped and had everything necessary for our stay. The large hot tub in the courtyard was very welcome and in use every evening. The fact that there were two lounges each with a TV meant that the teenagers could watch something different to others if they do wanted. The owners were local and on the couple of occasions that we needed to contact them everything was sorted out very promptly.Bolsover was delightful. There was a large Morrisons as well as lots of small speciality shops and an abundance of different takeaway outlets. The Pump tea rooms next door to the cottage did excellent breakfasts and lunches and the pub opposite was great for dinner…..particularly the Tuesday tapas deal.The area around had great walks, stunning views and some good golf courses. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
