Guests consistently praise the spacious layout, comfortable beds, and the private hot tub, which is a highlight after days out. The host is frequently described as helpful and accommodating. While a few minor issues are mentioned, such as mattress comfort and hot tub readiness, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return and highly recommending the property.
Cleanliness is repeatedly praised, with guests describing the cottage as immaculate, beautifully clean, and very well presented. Only positive comments are made regarding the standard of cleanliness.
The location is highly rated, with guests appreciating its central position in Bolsover, proximity to shops, pubs, and attractions, and ease of access to the Peak District. Some mention the town itself is quiet, but this does not detract from the property's appeal.
Guests find the cottage very comfortable, highlighting the spacious layout, comfy beds, and homely feel. One review notes a less comfortable mattress in the top floor bedroom, but this is a minor exception.
Facilities are highly praised, especially the hot tub, two lounges, and well-equipped kitchen. Minor issues include the hot tub not being ready on arrival and a shower that overflows, but these are rare and do not overshadow the overall positive feedback.
Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as clear instructions, festive decorations, and helpful local information from the host. While some mention a Christmas tree and attentive hosting, gifts or extras are not guaranteed for all stays.

The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. Only two things where the shower on the second floor over floods so have to be quick. Secondly the hot tub was not filled or checked till afternoon time so had to wait till then when it would of liked to been used sooner.
