Guests appreciate the large private garden, ideal for children, and the property's proximity to local amenities and attractions. The cottage's traditional features, such as the open fireplace, add to its appeal, although some guests mention low beams and stone floors as minor inconveniences. The welcoming touches, including festive decorations and a welcome pack, contribute to the property's warm and inviting atmosphere.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as 'super clean', 'ultra clean', and very well maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The cottage is appreciated for its quiet village setting and good location, with easy access to local shops, pubs, and parks, as well as being a convenient base for exploring the Peak District and nearby attractions.

Overall, guests find the cottage comfortable, mentioning cosy fires, comfortable beds, and home comforts. However, some guests noted that the sofa was not as comfy as desired and that the stone floors and beams could be problematic for children and taller individuals.

The property is well-equipped with quality bedding and towels, and a lovely welcome pack. Some guests suggested improvements such as garden maintenance and the addition of a washing machine, and there were comments about restricted window ventilation.

Guests were touched by thoughtful gestures such as festive decorations, a welcome card, and chocolates. While such gifts are warmly received, they are unique to each stay and may vary.
