The house was a little cramped due to very large furniture and it was odd that there are only six dining chairs in a house which sleeps eight, although it didn't matter to us as we brought our own highchairs. The conservatory was great. especially as the weather wasn't brilliant - large and comfortable. The garden has a lovely outlook, but a bit of a nightmare for small children with huge steep steps down from the decking.

It is in a quiet area with views over the fields at the rear. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. It is a 5 minute walk to the village down the hill where there is a shop, a bakery, a butchers and an Indian restaurant. It is also a 10 minute walk to Crich Tramway Museum. A nice play to stay. Minor helpful points that could be improved on: ⢠Cleanliness could be a little better (there was dust on top of the skirting boards and cobwebs in the upper corners of the living room.) ⢠A dustpan and brush may help. ⢠A hairdryer would be useful ⢠Instructions on how to use the coffee machine would be helpful. ⢠Perhaps have lighter quilts for summer. ⢠The bottle of wine was nice to receive but the packet of Salted peanuts that was left unfortunately were out of date in October 2023. ⢠We arrived at the property and had to call for the entry instructions as they were not sent to us. None of the above should deter anyone from staying at Col du Crich it still is lovely accommodation.
