Patio with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Parking (shared with other properties). No smoking.. Enter the property and prepare to say WOW! The huge open plan living, dining, kitchen area is breathtaking and offers guests comfy sofas to relax on and watch the huge Smart TV, along with the all-important log burner for those chilly nights. The stunning bespoke kitchen has everything you might need along with a large island area to sit whilst watching the chef cook! Then retreat to the nearby dining table, an ideal place to enjoy a special meal with family and loved ones. Head up a flight of stairs to the galleried glazed walkway leading to the three well-appointed bedrooms and family bathroom. The first-floor bathroom is a truly beautiful space offering free-standing bath, shower and toilet.
Outside there is a courtyard with seating, perfect for relaxing throughout the summer days. Directly from the property you can enjoy stunning country walks in many different directions, including an ever-popular hike up to the Lumsdale Falls making this the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors. Bring your bikes and enjoy the off-road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels.
Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the River Derwent; visit popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips, and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky. A little further afield Bakewell and Chatsworth House, provide a wonderful day out exploring the local businesses that line the streets. The location and property really is second to none and the perfect place for a perfect break at anytime of the year.

There 6 of us and 3 dogs staying at the South Carolina farm house. We found the property spacious, well equipped and very clean and tidy in arrival. The owners were very friendly. The location was great for walks/run. With the local pub only a short walk away. Would highly recommended staying here. Thank you.

Beautiful cottage, stayed for my son’s 30th birthday. Very roomy for 6 adults and 1 dog. Would highly recommend. Matlock in walking distance.
