Guests say

Vine Cottage is a well-received holiday rental in Matlock, praised for its cosy atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome packs and the property's proximity to scenic walks and local attractions. While parking and steep stairs are noted concerns, the cottage's charm and amenities make it a favoured choice for a Peak District getaway.

Most guests found Vine Cottage to be very clean and tidy, with one exception reporting it as dirty. The majority positive feedback suggests high standards of cleanliness are typically maintained.

The location is generally praised for its convenience to local attractions and scenic walks, though some guests noted issues with parking and steep access, which could affect those with mobility concerns.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with well-received bedrooms and a garden to relax in. However, steep stairs and a very hot top floor bedroom during warm weather slightly detract from the overall comfort.

The cottage is consistently lauded for its well-equipped kitchen and the option for a log fire. The lack of a potato masher and the mention of steep stairs suggest minor areas for improvement.

The welcome packs, including treats for dogs, are frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed.
