It's a lovely location in the heart of a small village and the local amenities are typical of the area. It is worth double checking opening times of the local shops, there's the deli in Thrussington and if that's closed the co-op in Asfordby can come to your rescue. Check with the pub when they stop serving food, especially on a Sunday.House wise it's a great size with space for the group to spread out and chill if they want, and the large dining table is a great place to bring the whole group together if you can drag them away from snooker. Cleanliness was ok, although it wouldn't be passing a picky 4 in a Bed TV show style inspection as there were a few bits that looked like they'd been missed. Toilet paper we only had small amounts of partial rolls and couldn't find any spares so had to pop out for more. There were no hand towels provided in the toilets and only one towel per person. So if you're likely to want extra towels bring some more. Other things we couldn't find that you might want to take with you: bin bags, extra tea towels (there was only 1 for us and not everyone in the party liked using the dishwasher for everything), same for washing up liquid and cloths for cleaning up.Not all the beds had been made up, however we weren't using both single beds so that wasn't a problem. Careful of the hot water. Whilst it might seem obvious to say that the hot water is hot you might find that it's much hotter than you're used to at home. A few of the adults in our party were caught out by just how scalding hot the water was.The things I mention are to help others staying in the future as we did have a relaxing stay and all the family would happily go back there again so don't let the comments put you off
