Wow! Just wow! Everything you will ever need is at this place! Its spotlessly clean (and i mean spotless, I have issues with cleanliness and I bring my own throw when we go to cottages to sit on as im weird, this is the 1st place we have ever stayed where I actually sat on the floors, sofas, chairs, got into bed and was so clean and comfy) can not praise it enough. Cutlery, glasses, everything was sparkly clean. Hot tub...again....was fresh and clean every day. The welcome hamper was huge and had some beautiful bits in. Was my sons birthday whilst away and the hosts left us a beautiful card and birthday cake too. The outside space is to die for, we had terrible weather, but you couldn't tell because it was all under cover and kept out all the rain. It was amazing sat outside listening to the rain. The layout was perfect, wasnt on top of eachother and the Xbox was a massive hit for the boys. So well supplied with cleaning stuff. Comphy sofas and beds. The bathrooms were lovely and had everything you needed. Hosts couldn't do any more even if they tried. We go to cottages once or twice a year as a family and we always compare the good bits and the bits that can be improved and this was the best we have been to. Catered for all our needs. We tried to pull it apart but it was laughable that we couldn't find a flaw! Loved it! Would definitely return!

I have just returned home from a very relaxed and cosy weekend away in Barn Lodge. This is our second visit and have already booked for November '26!Our party consists of 4 very busy and tired mums, that just need some time away to relax and reset. This barn is absolutely perfectly suited for our needs. The patio area is fabulous, for a morning cuppa and the hot tub is situated there also. No matter the weather, you can enjoy the hot tub and fresh air because you're completely covered. This is a huge plus for us, due to the time of year. The owners are honestly the best hosts we've ever had! Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The welcome pack is packed with goodies and there's a huge Tesco 15 minutes away. We have started our countdown for next year already. We cannot wait!
