A beautiful house for a family holiday. It is very old and has a lot of interesting history. The house is well equipped. The welcome hamper was a much appreciated surprise. We had never been to this area before and would highly recommend Sutton on Sea. We were less keen on Mabletherpe and Skegness. Louth has a an amazing Church, for a Town. Would suggest a resource folder with suggestions from other guests of places to visit, eat and also takeaway delivery to this area. Many thanks to Chris the owner. A small problem with hot water was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Like its owners, the house is full of charm. Beautifully appointed, it is an old period property exuding warmth and character, ideally located for coastal or rural exploration.We visited in June during an exceptional heat wave, but the house's thick walls kept us cooler inside, a haven to return to after an exhausting day in the sun.An excellent welcome pack was provided.The house is spacious and very comfortably furnished and makes you relax and want to stay longer. The online photos do not do it justice.We would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to revisit in the future.Does, however, need waste bins in the bedrooms and bathrooms and would benefit from an iron, ironing board and clothes airer.

Extremely Poor! A leak from shower, known previously to owner, leaked into light fittings and blew most of the electrics and WIFi. Owners very slow to act and treated us like it was our fault it did not work. when electrician came while we re out left bare wires in ceiling and light fitting on floor full of water. On top of this; no hot water for whole holiday! Plumber was on site day we arrived and made hot water work for one tank, but, none after that. When owner did come on 4th day he blamed the type of boiler installed. No help to us as no hot water for whole duration!
