Mary and Thomas were fantastic hosts. They were incredibly friendly, kind and provided clear communication. The lookout is truly stunning. It was very well laid out, cozy and had everything I needed during my stay. It is in an amazing location. I spent my evenings sat watching the wildlife right outside my door, the livestock in adjacent fields and stunning views.

Always wanted to stay in a shepherds hut and Longwool Lookout fully lived up to my expectations. I loved every minute from the moment I arrived until I had to (reluctantly) leave. Mary and Tom are utterly charming and super keen to ensure everything lived up to my expectations. Unique and tranquil location with fabulous views. The hut has been finished to an exceptionally high standard and the attention to detail is outstanding. I thoroughly recommend the experience and will definitely be returning.
