With its own private illuminated, gated entrance and the added security of cctv, Poppy Cottage is ideal for family breaks, with a garden to the rear and an undercover hot tub to enjoy. All the living space is set on the first floor, ensuring the best views across the Wolds to the front and across the Paddock and valley to the rear for you to take in and enjoy. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor.
The nearby Wolds Wildlife Park offers days out for all the family, as does the nearby east coast with the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes just a short drive away. For an alternative day out. be sure to visit the historic city of Lincoln, famed for its castle and cathedral, or indulge in some retail therapy.
Horncastle is well known for its many antique and collectables shops, as well as its weekly market. For motor racing fans, Cadwell Park is 10 minutes away as is the picturesque Woodhall Spa. The Georgian market town of Louth which still has three markets a week, is also approximately 15 minutes away. There are lovely walks and cycle routes to be enjoyed directly from the door throughout the area, with many Wolds villages offering places for refreshment as you explore the area. The village pub is just a short walk away and offers good food and drink for all the family. Shops 1 mile, pubs and restaurants 250 yards

We stayed at Poppy Cottage for 4 nights. What a stunning cottage. So comfy , city and clean. Angela and Paul were great hosts . The hot tub and garden area are lovely. We went into Horncastle ,just down the road . We also visited Louth ,such a lovely market town. We went Woodhall Spa, again a lovely little town. We ate at " the café in the woods " highly recommended. We had the fish and chips it was really good. It is recommended you book a table .

Had a lovely girly weekend for 5 ladies celebrating their 50th's! Pretty much everything you need in the cottage and great views from the upstairs kitchen/diner/lounge. The hot tub was fab, ready to use when we arrived and maintained by the owner each night, ready for the next day's use. Would definitely recommend!! Thanks Ange & Paul, for a lovely stay.

Great holiday getaway here at Poppy cottage lovely friendly hosts just next door but not intrusive at all, very warm, cosy, comfy beds jacuzzi topped it off would definitely return and recommend.
