There is a local leisure centre 2 miles from the lodge.There is a small pool for younger children and also a Pirate Ship slide in to the pool, and for adults there is also a steam room, sauna and a gym that covers two floors with vast array of equipment. Just a short drive away could see you spending time on one of the East Coast's wonderful sandy beaches.
Whether it's the quieter beaches of Theddlethorpe or Sutton or the lively resorts at Skegness and Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire's coastline has something for everyone. A little further away lies the historic city of Lincoln with its cathedral set proudly on the skyline. All you need for a memorable getaway.
With a championship 18 hole golf course adjacent to the tranquil lodge site, this is an ideal spot for a restful holiday. If you can tear yourself away from the woods you will discover a whole host of attractions and days out. The idyllic market town of Louth is three miles away; known as The Capital of the Wolds. A short drive away could see you spending time on one of the East Coast's wonderful sandy beaches.

Lovely stay at red kite our second visit to the property itâs situated with easy access to the main road leading upto the hotel grounds and facilities up there Lovely walks around the woods wild life is great Only negative Wi-Fi not brilliant and bbc channels kept breaking up Since our previous visit a gate has been put on balcony which made things a lot easier for the dogs thanks for that my fur babies had a wonderful time watching the squirrels and birds Will book again thanks

It would have been helpful to have information on how to get hot water and general information about the site ie where to put recycling

The property doesn't have a washing machine but that is clearly stated so wasn't a problem. The only improvement would have been if the grass surrounding the lodge had been cut, however this may have been due to maintaining the wildlife. Unfortunately the property no longer appears to be available to rent ?
