Kingfisher Cabin offers a peaceful and scenic retreat, ideal for those seeking relaxation, wildlife, and excellent fishing. Guests consistently praise the tranquil setting, well-equipped cabin, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The hosts are frequently described as welcoming, with thoughtful touches such as welcome packs noted by many. While some mention minor issues with cleanliness, comfort of beds and sofas, and occasional maintenance concerns, these do not detract from the overall positive experience. The location is convenient for exploring Skegness and nearby attractions, making it a popular choice for a restful getaway.
Most guests found the cabin clean and tidy, though a few mentioned arriving to find some areas needing additional cleaning, such as greasy surfaces or unwashed pots. These comments were in the minority, with the majority of reviews not raising cleanliness as a concern.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful scenery, and proximity to Skegness and local amenities. Guests appreciate the privacy and abundance of wildlife, with only positive remarks about the setting.
Guests generally found the cabin comfortable, especially enjoying the beds and hot tub. However, some noted that the sofas were low and uncomfortable, and a few mentioned the bed being too firm. These issues were not universal but were mentioned by several guests.
The cabin is well-equipped for self-catering, with reliable kitchen appliances, a hot tub, and good fishing facilities. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, such as heating not working or the oven being temperamental, but these did not significantly impact guests' enjoyment.
Many guests appreciated the welcome packs, which included items like bread, milk, biscuits, and even prosecco or wine. The hosts are frequently described as friendly and attentive. Please note that while gifts and welcome packs are often mentioned, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

I would describe my stay at Kingfisher cabin as 'Paradise Found' what a gem location; peaceful and not overlooked. The two massive wind turbines in an adjacent field presented no noise problems' in fact the only noise throughout the week were from the Canada and Greylag Geese that frequented the beautiful lake on the doorstep of the cabin. The cabin was well appointed and the owners left us a welcome pack (thank you). Past visitor experience reports mentioned that the sofas provided were uncomfortable? I found no such issue with either (two matching sofas) also someone mentioned the double bed was uncomfortable (the mattress was indeed hard, however I came prepared by bringing a mattress topper which proved perfect. The smart tv provided works well, however no DVD was present, though advertised. There is no shaver socket provided. A sort drive brings you into Burgh le Marsh that provides a well stocked Co-Op and also five pub/restaurants.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the scenery was wonderful. There are plenty of nice pubs and other places to eat nearby, many of which are within walking distance if are not in a hurry. The hosts left us some nice treats which were a pleasant surprise when we arrived. We spent each evening in the hot tub watching the stars and I cannot remember the last time I felt so relaxed. The day we returned home we were already booking our return visit.
