Stunning new two bedroom lodge set in a secluded position within the woodland, double bedroom with en suite and a twin bedroom served by a family bathroom, open plan lounge and dining area and kitchen. Had a weekend break in Oak 1.Firstly, the park is gorgeous. There were all different birds around as we drove in. Really well spaced and also some bits under construction, looking forward to seeing how it is when finished.Oak 1 is pet friendly and has a completely enclosed garden (not the gapped fencing like on the photos of Oak VIP Lodges). We had a whippet and a pug with us and it was absolutely perfect for them and relaxing for us to have the doors open and let them go in and out as they pleased. They both really enjoyed their stay.Really beautiful lodges, great quality products inside, Wrendale cups, Denby crockery, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. Beds comfortable, nice linen. SmartTV. You get 3 coffee pods included with some tea bags, sugar, instant coffee and milk sachets. Order more pods ahead of time, as you can't buy these pods in supermarkets, only Amazon at a mark up or Nespresso directly. You get a cleaning pack with cloth, sponge, 2 bin bags, small washing up liquid (enough for a couple of days), 3 dishwasher tablets. There was a salt and pepper pot in our lodge, I filled them up, but not sure if they're there in all lodges or left by a previous guest. Bathrooms had a small shower gel, shampoo and hand soap, 2 loo rolls in each en suite. Tea towel and oven gloves provided and other towels. Everything else you need to take.Hot tub was excellent. Garden was so enclosed and park so quiet, all lodges round us has guests, but we didn't hear anyone else whilst there.Donkeys are super cute, nice bonus!Only points of improvement we could see would be mirrors in the bedrooms or dressing areas. The bathrooms had decent mirrors, main bedroom had a small facial mirror, but both rooms didn't have any mirror near any plug for hair styling or seeing your outfit. We also didn't have a tin opener or colander, but didn't know if they've been taken or damaged or something if they were there in the first place. We managed fine with what we had, just went without the tinned stuff. Very little to improve on honestly. We didn't want to leave and hope to book again soon!!

Excellent weeks stay in the Oak lodge 2, modern and spacious building with a big gardern which great secure for dogs during your stays.The lodge would benefit from a upright fridge / freezer as currently has built in under counter with a icebox but milk tray bit was missing on checking in which reception was aware of this issue, gets very hot in lounge area from sun glaring in through glass fronted doors could benefit from blinds buildlt in doors to keep cool inside from heat from sun blasting in. Air fryer in kitchin would benefical in future stays by all.Hot tub was great, donkeys are lovely addition to the site. The on site shop inside reception was handy but not open all time plus could do with selling fresh milk and bread etc to save going out off site. Lovely food and drinks at The Hide on site.Accommodation we stayed in was clean, spaceious and everything you needed with the beds very comfy. Peaceful relaxing site to stay on during a break with wildlife around. Would recommend here to others and look to stay here again in future.
