Guests say
Red Robin Cottage receives high praise for its spacious, beautifully decorated interiors and peaceful setting. Guests consistently highlight the cleanliness, comfort, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The site is dog-friendly and offers a relaxing atmosphere with good on-site amenities, including a bar and fishing lakes. Thoughtful touches such as welcome packs and robes are appreciated, though not guaranteed. Minor issues mentioned include occasional maintenance niggles and limited kitchen utensils, but overall, guests report a delightful and restful stay, with many planning to return.
The majority of reviews describe the cottage as spotless, immaculate, and very clean. Only one review reported an issue with pet odours and stains, but this was an isolated case among overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Guests appreciate the peaceful, quiet setting and proximity to Skegness and local attractions. The remote location is seen as ideal for relaxation, though a car is recommended for convenience.
Comfort is frequently praised, with guests noting spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and cosy furnishings. The hot tub and tranquil environment further enhance the sense of relaxation.
Facilities such as the hot tub, smart TVs, and on-site bar are highly valued. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues (e.g., broken toaster, shower, or loose fence planks) and suggested improvements to kitchen equipment and laundry options.
Many guests mention thoughtful touches like welcome packs, robes, slippers, and flowers, which enhance the experience. However, these extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

Absolutely loved our stay in the Red Robin property. So much so that we have rebooked for a week next year in one of the lodges. Lovely site and well maintained the Hide Bar and Restaurant do excellent food and the staff are warm and welcoming. The property was clean and decorated well. A couple of minor niggles like no laundry facilities on site or in the property so if you’re there a week or longer you need to factor that in. Cooking is basic - sauce pans and spatulas and a couple of oven trays. I think having a couple of extra bits like a pizza slicer, potato masher, colander and oven proof dish wouldn’t go a miss but maybe that’s personal preference as I enjoy cooking even when I’m away. The dogs loved it and were welcome everywhere and the donkies are a huge cute bonus feature!
