We returned to Rose cottage for a couple of weeks break. It was as we remembered it, cosy, welcoming and very dog friendly! It was beautifully clean and we loved the Valentines decorations gifts and welcome box. We enjoyed some trips out and our dogs just loved the garden, especially our greyhound! I would highly recommend Rose cottage to anyone wanting some peace and quiet, enjoying the wildlife and relaxing in the hot tub! We loved the Aga and the kitchen, cosy and warm for the winter time. The owners were lovely as before and made sure all was well for our stay! Many thanks

Rose Cottage was perfect. Spotless. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and to make your stay easy and comfortable had been thought of and provided. It's clear lots of thought and effort has gone into making this a special experience. The huge enclosed garden was excellent for our lurcher to stretch her legs and the hot tub was a real treat for us after lots of long walks on the beach and following the public footpaths over the fields to Burgh le Marsh and the pub! We found Ye Olde Red Lion had opening hours better suited to our walks and the locals were so welcoming and friendly. There's a Co-Op in Burgh Le Marsh if you need some bits. Skegness has a selection of supermarkets and shops with an added bonus sensational seaside experience to boot. The beaches at this time of year were an absolute joy for us and the dog. We've left Rose Cottage feeling truly relaxed, like we've really had the most wonderfully cathartic week. Thank you Bev & Rob for being fantastic hosts, only ever a text away. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Rose Cottage and would happily return.
