A great property situated in a fantastic location that offers guests the chance to explore all that Lincolnshire has to offer. The Nook is set over two floors; with a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room complete with wood burner, bathroom and two good sized bedrooms situated downstairs. Upstairs, you will find two further bedrooms and another family bathroom. Outside you will find the perfect entertaining area with a drop down table/bar which come complete with a sink and fridge!
There is plenty to see and do for all the family in the area, with the North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards on the beach, which is well worth a visit. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just along the coast, as is Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. Furthermore, enjoy a day out on the coast visiting the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe, travel inland to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or enjoy some motor racing at Cadwell Park. Lincoln makes a great day out with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta visitor centre. Shop, pub and restaurant all within 1 mile.

Having stayed at another of Patrice’s cottages, Boothby Cottage, we decided to book The Nook with extended family. The Nook did not disappoint. Fantastic cottage nice and spacious with everything you need. Lovely enclosed and secure garden, which was great for the dog. Shame the weather wasn’t warm enough for us to sit out and enjoy the garden & make use of the amazing bar. Great trips to the coast and Gunby Hall. Lovely fish & chips from Marina chip shop Chapel St Leonard’s- recommend click and collect, only 4min in the car. Thank you for a great weekend.

A fabulous holiday stay! The cottage is large with an ample secure garden for the dogs. Absolutely pristine cottage with all mod cons and very generous welcome pack which we were very grateful for. Although we didn’t use it there is an outdoor bar and seating area, plus a laundry room. The local area is lovely and so very quiet, perfect of a relaxing getaway ♥️. We’ll certainly be returning!

The Nook is an exceptional property. Spotlessly clean, beautiful decor - tasteful mix of traditional and modern. Everything you need for a peaceful break. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Welcome pack was generous and was appreciated by us all. Looking forward to returning again.
