Pleasant place. Clean and warm. In middle of nowhere. Company not impressive. Hadn't sent key code up to day of check in. Had to chase it up then got stroppy madam arguing about how it wasnt her fault. Wouldn't use again.

We had been to The Potting Shed twice previously for short breaks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our recent visit, for five nights over Christmas highlighted to us the unsuitability for cooking what was quite a basic Christmas dinner. While the kitchen was perfectly acceptable previously for making snacks and light meals, it was very different for cooking a main meal so if we were to return, it would only be at a time when eating out is easy. (Lack of suitable equipment).Upon arrival, we did report difficulty in getting the key in the lock (we had even thought it was the wrong key) and had been told it would be attended to. Two days later, we had a visit to check whether we needed topping up with toilet rolls, bin liners, etc and advised again that we were having difficulty with getting the key into the lock. When we left after a five night stay it had still not been attended to so, hopefully it was rectified before the next arrival.

Great little cottage, just right for the 2 of us and our dog, with everything you might need. The enclosed garden was perfect for our little spaniel. Being in between Lincoln and the coast worked for us as we could visit our daughter and have a few trips to the beach as well.
