The property was clean warm and cosy. It had everything we needed including the log burner. Our only recommendation would be a handrail for the steps as these were difficult in the icy weather.

the house is large and decorated to a very high standard. The beds and settee were really comfortable and everywhere very clean. One of the nicest places we have stayed in. loved the solar lighting around the courtyard garden. lots of lovely little touches inside that help to make it very homely. The steps to the cottage are very steep and I can understand why some people have mentioned it before. A hand rail would provide much needed security in wet weather or if there are mobility issues. Very near to the city for sightseeing . Gainsborough Old Hall worth a visit and on the way back ( if Wednesdays) there is a boot fair

Those that know Lincoln will appreciate why it's so called. We walked up hill in about 10 minutes. The surroundings although in a student area was quiet at night and felt comfortable and safe. Decent parking for one car. 5 minutes to a lovely café bar, called kine and an easy walk to the theatre. The cottage has a pleasant sheltered garden, sitting out area catches afternoon and evening sun. Living room very comfortable, smart TV for essential catch ups, large bathroom, comfortable beds and generally a cosy warm environment. Kitchen well equipped nothing missing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and if coming back to Lincoln would stay here again. Good cottage.
