The hot tub is cleaned, checked, and refilled with fresh water after each guest. This can result in the hot tub taking a few hours to heat up so please be aware of this on the day of your arrival.

We loved staying here. The rooms were clean and tidy - towels provided were clean too. All the utensils we needed were provided in the kitchen. Though other things like sugar, coffee etc we had to purchase. We really enjoyed our stay especially the hot tub. The only let down was the small sofa which was not big enough for 6 people otherwise a great stay. It also would have been great to know that instructions for entering would come on the day, we had this assurance from a previous review otherwise we would not have known.

I booked a week away for the husbands birthday (& the hound).I read the reviews before booking and knew the site would be peaceful and quiet which was one of the reasons for booking. On arrival Paul the site manager/owner warmly greeted us and gave the hound a welcome dog treat as well as a quick overview of the site and facilities, apologising for a wifi and TV issue which for us was no issue at all, this was resolved by our second day. The grounds are well kept with an abundance of fruit trees we were told to help ourselves to. Accommodation:The lodge, although dog friendly, it was spotless, yes there is the old scuff mark but it's not "Four in a bed" and not worth a deduction of 50%.Overall the lodge was PERFECT, yes, capitals. If you want to look for minor faults you need to book 5 star plus and go elsewhere with a price tag to match but overall there is nothing to not like about this peaceful, quiet location. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything we needed.The lodge even had a little pack of kitchen essentials, dishwasher tablets, sponge etcDue to location, most days out of require a car however the local pub, the Rose and Crown is only a 20 min walk away, super dog friendly with a nice beer garden. Don't get confused with the other Rose and Crown (with a swimming pool), apparently that's a bit low rate The neighbouring camp site does a delicious fish and chips each Friday.Overall, Serenity Lakes Lodges is set in a peaceful, tranquil setting with an abundance of fruit trees, ducks and geese with comfortable, well equipped lodges. Oops, forgot to mention the fantastic hot tub which didn't think we'd use but did most days as well as fluffy bathrobes and fantastic quality towels. The only negatives we had were the creaky floor and the heated towel rail switches could do with a label etc to identify where it is
