Brilliant location for exploring the canal network and surrounding area both on foot and by road.. Cottage was cosy and well equipped for our stay. The bed was comfy and shower was great with plenty of hot water . Underfloor heating and stove made a great difference making it extra homely. Cottage is well equipped to cook daily if that would be your choice. 4 good local pubs within 10 to 20 minutes walk or a couple of minutes drive. Plenty of interesting surrounding places to walk for example Borough Hill or Daventry country park but both need a car. Local walks round the village can keep you occupied for a couple of hours each one and maps are available at the marina. This cottage is dog heaven as there's a big paddock at the back leading on to a field which leads to the canal and marina.. Fabulous..
