The Weighbridge is a charming, compact cottage ideal for couples and their dogs seeking a peaceful countryside retreat. Guests consistently praise its immaculate cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and clever use of space. The property is well-equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout, and offers direct access to scenic walks along a former railway line. The welcoming hosts, tranquil setting, and the presence of alpacas add to its unique appeal. While the cottage is small, it is perfectly formed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, making it highly recommended for short breaks.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as spotlessly clean and immaculately maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

Guests appreciate the peaceful rural setting, direct access to walking and cycling routes, and proximity to local attractions. A few mention the nearby main road, but note it does not disturb the tranquillity.

The cottage is described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with a good bed and quality furnishings. The compact size is noted but not seen as a drawback for couples or solo travellers.

Reviews mention the property is well-equipped with all essentials, including kitchen gadgets, a fan for hot weather, and a secure garden. The absence of a full kitchen or bath is noted but does not detract from overall satisfaction.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as informative welcome packs, small gifts, and warm hospitality. While some guests received welcome goodies, it should be noted these are not guaranteed for all stays.

Beautiful place, perfect for a couple. Nicely converted for a lovely stay, and the added bonus of alpaca's in the back garden. Would recommend.

Lovely cosy little bolt hole, we liked the walks leading from the garden and the peace and quiet. Only 20 minutes from Lincoln, a Morley little city. The Lamas are very cute, Amy and Jon, were great, friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have been better looked after!
