Sykes really need to wake up to the growth of EV ownership and start encouraging new properties to include vehicle charging and to include in listings the charging position. Hot tub a real treat - much appreciated. Somewhere in the kitchen area to store food would have been helpful. Great location for touring this beautiful and not sufficiently recognised tourist area.

It was a lovely place to stay.

Lots of outdoor space and seating. Lodge felt unfinished needs tweaking steps needed onto the decking area. More wardrobe space needed. Feel the listing of the lodge and facilities isnât correct really needs updating and to inc the train line that is immediately behind the lodge (didnât bother us as we live by a train line) may bother other people though also the ongoing works on the site. If you go in summer take fly spray with you! Lovely for a quiet break away.
