The cottage had plenty of room for us all and we made use of the facilities. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Cottage and thought the welcome gifts were a lovely touch. The hot tub and outside area are brilliant (even if the weather wasn’t) and the cottage overall is perfect for a group getaway. There’s a Table Table within walking distance and plenty of other eating and drinking establishments nearby. A small bit of feedback would be that the seal around the downstairs shower seems to have failed because the floor was well saturated after using it. I forgot to mention to Andy when he came round on checkout day but it could do with looking at. On that subject, Andy was really helpful on check-in day by coming round to show us the facilities and we appreciated that extra touch. Overall we all really enjoyed our stay at the white cottage and would highly recommend it.

Also, thanks for the welcome gifts. There were lots of things in the cottage that our children enjoyed especially the hot tub, games and cuddly fruit and vegetables! The cottage was very comfortable and ideal for a family. Lots of extra touches like throws etc were appreciated. However, it was extremely dusty. I know old places gather dust as we live in an old house but I couldn’t stop sneezing from it. Also, there wasn’t a brush to clean the barbecue with, unless we just couldn’t find it and the shower in the downstairs bathroom leaks through the bottom of the door. It also doesn’t say that the cottage is next to a very noisy busy road on the listing. Although, I guess this is my fault for not looking at google maps prior to booking it. Regardless we enjoyed the cottage and exploring the area.
