Bungalow is basic but layout works, bath & shower good. Gardens are great, fairly peaceful & being allowed to wander wherever was lovely, my grandchildren loved the freedom & room to run & play & endless hiding places in the trees. Owner is very approachable, friendly & helps in anyway but not intrusive.

The Bungalow was a great place to stay and contained all the equipment we needed to make it a home from home for a week. It was quiet, secure and surrounded by greenery. It was fun to watch the rabbits and squirrels from our windows (even though they ran off the second we opened the door!) From this homely base, we were able to drive out and explore parts of Essex we'd always wanted to visit. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and we would definitely recommend a stay here.

Interior very tired flooring in poor condition gaps between laminate boards some surface missing. Work surfaces were tacky. Oven could not read controls at to guess temperature and which setting to use. No sun loungers as shown on photos. Very noisy a12 road. Lady at house was plesant on arrival but did not see her during stay garden attractive many mature trees and large pond but rest of garden needs a good make over many tree stumps and a large derelict pond area with no water
