Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This delightful, holiday cottage is attached to the owner’s period property and its name refers to the stunning floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom. It is set in an aonb in the Dedham Vale where the artist John Constable painted many of his famous scenes. Set in the owner’s grounds, with its own private area of garden, it is the ideal choice for a romantic break and is in an excellent area for walking and cycling. The nearby Roman town of Colchester has an excellent range of shops, as well as a zoo and castle. The peaceful Stour Estuary, Maningtree, and Mistley are a 6-minute drive, whilst London is less than an hour away by train. An excellent location to explore all the delights of both Essex and Suffolk. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Glass House! Everything about it is just perfect we loved the location, looking out at the alpacas and seeing the birds too ! We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return it had all you need for a relaxing stress free holiday
