A comfortable base, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. We were able to park right outside throughout our stay. No outside space but the local pub (which serves excellent food) is a five-minute walk away and has a huge garden. A good base for exploring the Essex/Sussex countryside, with (for example) the Beth Chatto gardens and the Sutton Hoo site both a short drive away.

The Snug Cottage is a lovely cosy cottage.Spotlessly clean. Comfy beds and is very well equipped. The swan pub down the road is well worth a visit. Bus stop just up the road. Lots of beautiful walks on the doorstep even lots of places to go for an early morning run. Plenty of places to visit in the area. Would definitely stay at the Snug again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
