We stayed in All Saints cottage the last week of December and enjoyed New Years Eve there. We were welcomed with a big hamper and a nice welcome card. The cottage is big enough for four to five people and has all you need: cosy living room, cute dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The three bedrooms upstairs have good beds and bedsheets and linnen provided was of good quality. We really enjoyed staying in the cottage although there were some things that could have made our stay even better. We could not get the electric oven to work which was a pity. We did not try the woodburner as previous guests commented it was not working properly. Finally, it would be wise to leave instructions for the central heating system as it was not working when we arrived. Luckily we were able to manage it ourselves but having proper instructions on how to use the heating system would have made it much easier. But all in all we had a very enjoyable stay in a picturesque cottage.

This is a copy of an email I left the owners.Iarrived just after 4pm and it was quite dark. There were no instructions as to where to find the lock box. I finally found it and got in. The kitchen was freezing and turned on the kitchen lights hung up my coat not realising the Wi-Fi code was underneath it.I booked the cottage with the intention of hosting a family Christmas dinner. I couldn’t make the small cooker work. The phone reception is shocking which is not your fault. I phoned the contact number given and asked for help. The welcome basket was wonderful and very generous thank you.Sunday no heat and the boiler was inside a cupboard which was locked. I sent a text message to the contact number and it was only after this action was finally taken. After 6hours a man turned up and had to take the door off the boiler cupboard to access it. He also looked at the aga but to no avail. A complete wasted day on my holiday. The boiler did not come on several times but the cupboard door was left open for us to access it and boost.I finally managed to get the smaller cooker working but had to abandon hosting Christmas so a complete waste of time. The log fire had a broken glass door so was just eating it up. We did buy some logs but ended up using some of yours as they just burned like kindling. All in all the most expensive cottage that I stayed in ever and not up to scratch heating or electrics. There is so much more,

AVOID!!! We arrived at 4pm to check in to find there was no key in the key safe. The local contact number didn't work and when I got through to someone at cottages they didn't have a key. They tried to contact the owner but it didn't work so we were left without anywhere to stay. Terrible experience and surely not a great busines plan if there isn't much contact with the owner prior to a guests arrival.
