The Fieldbarns are three luxury barns set on Bullocks Farm in the heart of the Essex countryside. Millers, Fox Hatch and Woolmers have been tastefully converted by a firm of award-winning architects, with sweeping views of the fields and countryside all around you.
The Fieldbarns are are three luxury holiday barns set on Bullocks Farm in the heart of the Essex countryside. Millers, Fox Hatch and Woolmers have been tastefully converted by a firm of award-winning architects, with sweeping views of the fields and countryside all around you. Nestled in open countryside overlooking the open countryside of the Rodings valley, the Fieldbarns are an ideal base for family and friends to gather and explore the local area. Sleeping up to twelve guests in three spacious barns, each barn has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburning stove.
Each of the barns bedrooms boast handmade beds and mattresses, toppers, luxury 100% Egyptian cotton linen and plump feather and down pillows and duvets. For those allergic to feathers they also have a hypoallergenic option. Spacious wardrobes ensure plenty of storage for clothing and cases. The master bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and the twin bedrooms with large singles, easily zipped together and made up into super-kings on request. The Roman blinds are blackout lined and ensure a great nights sleep. There’s underfloor heating throughout the barns and lots of thoughtful touches, like the White Company bathing products in the bathroom and the 100% cotton towels. You can even ask the owners to provide you with home-prepared, locally sourced seasonal meals and treats (see Notes).
Fox Hatch, the middle barn is large enough to host 12 for eating and entertaining and there is a large outdoor area in the wildflower meadow for gathering on sunny days with picnic benches, fire pit and a barbecue.
