The ground floor has a cosy living room with traditional cottage furniture and wood burner, perfect for a relaxing night by the fireplace and a movie. This charming property is nestled in the centre of the quiet, picturesque village of Ireby near Caldbeck and Uldale. Ireby is right on the border of the Lake District National Park, in fact the border crosses about twenty steps from the door! From here you have lovely walks and cycle routes nearby. If you love the outdoors, this village is in a prime location. Connected by the road networks it means you can get here quickly and start your holiday sooner. Yet you’re just a short drive to many of the amazing towns and tourist hotspots that The Northern Lakes has to offer. The historic, alluring village of Bassenthwaite with its magnificent lake and access to Skiddaw, one of the highest mountains in England, is a 10-minute drive. Beach 15 miles. Pub within 1 mile.

Very comfortable roomy cottage with beautiful extension leading out to garden with view of surrounding hills. Main bedroom has a spacious four poster bed and the other bedrooms are equally as spacious and comfortable. Parking is only issue at side of cottage but can’t park on pavement at front. Would recommend this cottage for a very pleasant stay.
