We stayed at this lovely cottage in the Lake District for my girlfriends birthday and had such a wonderful time. The place was incredibly cosy, spotles, and had a real homely feel perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook a few nice meals in, and the heating kept us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. Having off-road parking was a big plus, and our host was so friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. The only downside was the clasic British weather but even that couldnt spoil our time here! Overall, a perfect little spot for a peaceful break. Highly recommend.

Great cottage in a beautiful small village. Very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Only criticism is that the shower is so cramped, very small for my husband who is 6ft.

Pickles Barn is a comfortable, clean and well appointed home from home close to Keswick and all surrounding amenities. Ireby itself is a picturesque village full of Lakeland charm.Having stayed in central Keswick I find the outlying villages offer better accommodation at a more reasonable price.
