Keswick is a wonderful base for many outdoor activities, with walking and cycling routes radiating from the town into the surrounding fells. Admire the view from Friar's Crag (0.5 miles), stroll around the lake, or climb the nearby peaks, such as Latrigg Fell (1.5 miles) or Blencathra (7 miles). The stone circle at Castlerigg (1.5 miles) offers magical views over the surrounding fells.
Laid out over two floors, this lovely cottage retains the feel of a traditional Lakeland home while offering all the modern comforts you need after a day in the fresh air. Enter through the front door straight into a welcoming lounge, where exposed beams, comfy seating, and a warming wood burner create a cosy place to curl up with a book or catch up with your favourite TV shows. A door leads into a bright, spacious kitchen/diner with all the essential appliances and a dining table seating four. When night falls, head upstairs to find two comfortable bedrooms, a double and a twin. They share the use of a contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath, allowing you the option of a leisurely soak or a refreshing shower.
A door from the kitchen leads out into a shared rear garden with a bistro table and chairs. A permit is also provided for parking in local car parks.
