A traditional Lakeland stone terraced cottage enjoying an ideal setting on the banks of the River Greta and only a 10 minute level walk from the bustling town centre. The Twa Dogs pub is just across the road, serving bar meals and real ale. The cottage provides a cosy, comfortable base for couples or small families to enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer. It is also ideal for walkers with Skiddaw, Blencathra and Catbells all within a short drive.

Bobbin Cottage was situated in the perfect location just a 10 minute walk to Keswick Town centre. The little river running along out back was idyllic. The cottage had everything you needed with well equipped kitchen. Could maybe do with a freshen up of paintwork and the dripping shower head fixed but these were very minor. My only negative comment would be to the cleaning team. There were cobwebs everywhere and although the rooms were mostly clean, skirtings, and high ledges etc had been missed during cleaning. There was a musty smell throughout and windows were filthy compared to other cottages in the row. These minor faults didn't detract from us having a lovely week in Keswick.

We have stayed at this cottage many times and will return probably,are finding it is in need of a bit of a spruce up,paint new living room furniture possible,external windows very dirty and lots of spider webs etc,could do with a good clean. Overall we like it here.
