Guests say

Brasscam is a beautiful property in Keswick, praised for its stunning location and views, spacious and tastefully furnished ground floor, and garden ideal for alfresco dining. Guests appreciate the proximity to walking paths and the warmth of the upstairs rooms, though some noted the need for more seating and cosier touches.

The property generally appears clean, but there are reports of stained furniture and unclean shower heads. One guest mentioned cleaning around taps themselves, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its spectacular views and proximity to walking trails and mountains, making it an excellent choice for nature enthusiasts.

The property offers a warm and spacious ground floor, but some guests found the furniture uncomfortable and the upstairs rooms a bit cold, indicating mixed levels of comfort.

Facilities are modern and appreciated on the ground floor, but guests reported issues with underfloor heating and a lack of cleaning supplies. Upstairs decor and maintenance seem to need attention.

While guests have not mentioned specific gifts, the limited and tired Christmas decorations suggest a need for more thoughtful touches to enhance the festive experience. However, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

beautiful accommodation lovely area just outside keswick , which is my happy place . log burner was an added special touch and my son who is autistic absolutely loved it , only tiny issue would be the Christmas decorations were limited and very tired , I did bring some little things with but I just think at Christmas I think a real tree would be perfect . Downstairs was cold - under floor heating not working, the settee is covered in stains, 1 bottle of hand wash for 3 toilets on 3 floors, the TV is tiny, no cloths or sponge to wash the pots, no trays, no shower gel, found glass plate for the microwave in dishwasher covered in dried up porridge or something similar, patch of sticky jam or honey on the worktop near the hob. On the plus side, upstairs was nice and warm and the kitchen area is nice.

The views from the house were spectacular. The furniture was not comfortable and stained. The shower heads were not clean and around the taps in the main bedroom had not been cleaned. I cleaned around the taps myself as they were so dirty, came off very easily so could have been done with minimum effort. Apart from that all good.
