The location was great but the standard and cleanliness was poor. Dirty towels from previous guests were still in the linen basket, pastry crumbs on the dining chairs, sponge from previous guest still in bathroom, stains on carpets and sofas, false nail and other bits under sofas. Could be lovely but standards were below average for price paid.

everything was fine apart from one of the beds not actually being made had clearly been slept in. also was a wet towel mat so someone also had a shower? we cant be sure if the other befs had been slept in but a nadty smell came from a room at the bottom of the stairs. only other thing was at one point something was making the whole building rock went on for hours. everything else was fine tho near to bus routes restaurants and the park plus a little shop which we only discovered on the last day. the key safe was a bit hard but the owner who lives upstairs gave instructions on how to do it from the window.

Fantastic apartment - modern but in keeping with the Lakes and property - clean but most of all so handy for Keswick centre, pubs and restaurants. Had a great stay and will come back again.
