Amba is a well-positioned, spacious and clean apartment in the heart of Keswick, appreciated for its central location and well-equipped kitchen. Guests have enjoyed the comfortable setting and the property's proximity to local amenities, despite some noise from a nearby bar and issues with parking and window condensation.
The majority of guests found Amba to be very clean, with several positive remarks about its tidiness. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as musty towels and a stained duvet, which slightly impacts the overall cleanliness score.
The location is highly praised for being central and convenient, with easy access to Keswick's shops and attractions. The presence of a nearby bar causing noise was noted, but the central location is generally seen as a major advantage.
Guests found the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and the spaciousness. However, some guests noted discomfort with the main double bed and the sofas, and noise from the bar and other guests was occasionally a disturbance.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-stocked kitchen. Maintenance issues such as window condensation, parking confusion, and occasional noise from the bar were concerns. Some guests also mentioned the need for double glazing and bathroom updates.
Guests appreciated the welcome tray and the provision of essentials, which added a thoughtful touch to their stay. However, as not all reviews mention gifts and their consistency cannot be guaranteed, the score reflects this uncertainty.

Good location. Lovely newly appointed bathrooms. Excellent accommodation. Great views of Skiddaw from the lounge. Very good to have an allocated parking space. Reported to the agents a problem with TV aerial as TV reception intermittent. Would return again.

The flat was bigger than I thought and very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a little noise from the bar below but if you want to stay in the centre of town you have to expect this. It didn't bother us though. You definitely don't need to use your car to go walking and exploring. We loved it and have booked the same place twice for next year. The only slight negative is the sofas. They could do with being replaced as it felt like they had sunk and were a bit uncomfortable. It hasn't put us off booking again though! A great flat in the centre of a beautiful town.

We reported this several times and the fact that the door into the flat was not locking properly. Although the door was fixed the day after the man even coming in on his day off to fix it the curtains were still not looked at when we left a week later. I did ring up several times to ask for these to be looked at even asking to speak to the manager and was told it could take up to 2 days to be able to speak to a manager !! Considering we paid over £800 for the week we thought this was very bad customer service.
