Amba is a well-liked cottage in Keswick, praised for its cleanliness, central location, and spaciousness. It offers good amenities and some guests appreciated the thoughtful touches. However, comfort is affected by noise from a nearby bar and some found the beds and settees uncomfortable. Parking and access for those with limited mobility could be improved.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting its spotlessness. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as musty towels and a stained duvet, slightly affecting the score.
The central location is highly praised for its convenience and proximity to local amenities. The views of Skiddaw and the ease of access to walking and exploring are appreciated, although noise from the nearby bar is a noted downside.
While the property is spacious and generally well-appointed, several guests found the main double bed and settees uncomfortable. Noise from the tapas bar and upstairs neighbours also impacted the comfort level for some guests.
The property is well-equipped with necessary amenities and some guests found the bathrooms to be recently refurbished and functional. However, issues with parking space size, noise insulation, and maintenance of certain facilities like curtains and locks have been reported.
While some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like a tray with a few items in the kitchen and the provision of essentials, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category.

Nice comfortable flat with good facilities and very handy location. It would be very useful if there was a small table of some sort at the window end of the large settee and a lamp. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Mike
.. Love the location and the available parking space.
Elaine
The flat was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all necessary amenities, which made our stay very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was especially convenient, and the private parking space was a huge plus given Keswick's limited parking. However, while everything else was perfect, we found the settees in the living room very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this impacted our ability to relax and enjoy the space fully, leading us to leave a bit earlier than planned. With an upgrade in seating, this property would be ideal for a comfortable, extended stay in Keswick.
