Guests say

Latrigg House in Keswick is a well-received holiday rental with spacious, en-suite bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate its cleanliness, tasteful decor, and central location, ideal for exploring the town and nearby attractions. While some guests noted issues with kitchen layout and outdoor seating, the property's overall comfort and modern facilities are praised. The thoughtful touches, such as Christmas decorations and a welcome gift, add to the positive experience.

Guests consistently report that Latrigg House is spotlessly clean, with well-maintained bedrooms and bathrooms. There were minor comments about damp-smelling towels and a vacuum cleaner not being emptied, but these were exceptions in the overall feedback.

The property's location is highly rated, being central to Keswick with easy access to pubs, restaurants, and walking routes. The convenience of off-street parking is frequently mentioned as a bonus.

The house is generally considered comfortable, with cosy bedrooms and a warm atmosphere. However, some guests found the dining and lounge seating arrangements a bit cramped for larger groups, and there were comments about inadequate shower pressure and bedding.

Facilities are modern and generally meet guests' needs, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample technology. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working Wi-Fi, inadequate lighting, and minor appliance faults, which slightly lower the score.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures like a welcome gift and Christmas decorations, these are not consistent across all reviews. As such, it is not possible to accurately score this category, but the mentioned gestures are appreciated when provided.

The hosts had even decorated it for Christmas which was lovely and we received a very thoughtful welcome gift. The house was the perfect size for the 10 of us with plenty of space and every bedroom having an ensuite bathroom. It was very clean, well heated throughout and the large living room had plenty of blankets to cosy up and board games for fun family nights in. The kitchen had plenty of storage and space to cook and we enjoyed some big family mealtimes around the large dining table. Its in a great location with Keswick Town Centre and Fitz Park just around the corner. There is plenty of parking on the drive (which is so useful as the side streets are busy). The only negative was no secure outside space for the dog. It is advertised as having a garden but is actually the front drive with a stable style gate which meant the dog had to be leashed at all times when letting out for toilet breaks. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Latrigg House and would highly recommend it to any large groups heading to the Lakes. We will definitely be back! The kids are already asking for it to be our New Years tradition.

Leaving a bottle of Prosecco and biscuits was a nice welcoming gift. Very much recommended. The only thing we felt would have been extra welcome were hand towels in each bathroom.

Ideal location, off street parking for three cars. Plenty of plates and cutlery and a fully equipped kitchen, with two fridges ! The whole house is huge, with plenty of space for everyone.
