Guests say

Castle Crag in Keswick is a well-appointed and comfortable holiday home praised for its convenient location, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The property is clean, offers ample seating in the lounge, and includes a bonus parking area. A downstairs toilet adds to the comfort for less mobile guests. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience is very positive.

The property is generally well-presented and clean, though one review mentioned the en suite shower could have been cleaner. This seems to be an isolated issue rather than a trend.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to the centre of Keswick and ease of access to local amenities and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring.

Guests find the property comfortable, with plenty of seating in the lounge and a well-received downstairs toilet. The presence of multiple TVs and a washer dryer adds to the comfort.

Facilities are generally good, with a large oven and washer dryer. However, some maintenance issues like low boiler pressure and a cold en suite shower were reported.

There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The amenities of Keswick are close by and there are many walking routes to explore, straight from the door. The house is very well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay and the utility room was handy for our outdoor clothes and shoes. Having a parking space was a bonus, as on street parking in the area is very busy most of the time.

  • Jodi

Very convenient access to the centre of Keswick, but also easy to get out of Keswick too. The parking area was a real bonus, particularly at the weekends when the area fills up due to all the guest houses. The area is really quiet. Didn't find the stairs too steep, I had my elderly mum with me and although she couldn't go up and down the stairs very frequently, she could manage them, but the downstairs toilet was a bonus for her. Would definitely book here again if we come back.

Low pressure warning on boiler. Ensuite shower too cold.
