No smoking.. This pair of delightful holiday cottages are tucked away, yet very centrally located in the bustling and popular market town of Keswick. Well presented and built in the mid 1990’s they offer very cosy, comfortable and tastefully furnished holiday accommodation. Enjoy excellent local atmosphere and amenities plus dramatic and spectacular scenery on the doorstep. This is a walkers paradise with good restaurants, pubs, theatre, cinema, leisure centre, golf, tennis, water sports, fishing, bowls and shopping all nearby. Shops and pubs 200 metres.

additional information - The TV reception is intermittant, due to weather and geographical location. Parking for 1 small/medium car, larger cars can be parked in Pay & Display car park in centre of Keswick, a short walk from the property.

The property is superbly located in the centre of busy Keswick and has a parking space - a real bonus in this town. Sadly, this is the peak of the compliments as we found the property to be dirty on arrival with furniture that was literally falling apart and crockery and cutlery that had not been cleaned by previous occupants. A visit to the cottages.com office resulted in the property being cleaned (again?) and although this was good customer service it was not the deep clean that it desperately needs.Other reviews have mentioned the mattresses and, though they’ve seen better days, they were not uncomfortable. Cooking utensils (though in need of a wash) were plentiful and we were able to cook a full Christmas Dinner with no problems.This is definitely a case of a property not fulfilling its potential. We’d return but would need many guarantees of cleanliness and quality before doing so.
